Reflection

The woven piece was formulated through collaborative work. Questions being what did u have for breakfast today and how did u travel to school created the shapes and patterns on my work. I really like how each question is reflective of the different materials, shapes,and sizes of the patterns on my piece. The woven piece was a little out my comfort zone because i was apprehensive on the outcome. I could have added more horizontal lines and used thicker pieces of strings to get rid of some of the gaps in my work. The projection task was enjoyable as different shape's and design's were made from just simply using paper and scissors. The designs started to become complex as i gradually created more patterns. With the collaborative Yarn work there was no plan or strategy of what we were making we just randomly attached the yarn to the fence. Closer to the end of the task we decided to overlap the thread so that it hangs downs. This created a nice affect with the wind. I think that if we had some sort of strategy the design would have more body and be effective.
